well, i grew in Baltimore and it's always and always be my hometown. besides living out here, i'm in the band living out in the days. we're currently touring around and just meet fans, ya know? all of us grew up here plus our parents supported us so it was a good thing. we all met in high school and that's when our friendship was form and we realized that we could actually play instruments. ( chuckles ) i never thought that we would actually become a band and get signed. it's just a dream come true, people would kill to have a career like this.

HOW HE GOT STARTED;;
Let's just say I'm not the perfect person. Let's just say that I made a lot of mistakes in my life. Let's just say that I've changed...even though people don't believe me. Hi, I'm Chase Mitchell James, Chase for short. I'm twenty three years old and I'm in the band Living Out In The Days. I'm the lead singer. and I got started in high school. High school, yeah. I was an A+ student but secretly, I had another life around me. I did drugs, meth to be exact. Meth helped me became so alive and yet...it kept doing damage inside my body. Everyone told me to stop, even my own mother. I couldn't do anything about it...that's when music became in my life. I started to play the guitar around sophomore year with my music teacher, who knew that the guitar meant more than meth. When I got really good at it, I stopped drugs. I knew that drugs weren't going to solve anything in my life. I knew what I wanted to in my life...and that was to become a musician. After graduation, a group of friends and I didn't know what to do as an occupation. That's when our instruments came to play. I showed them vocal skills and lucky enough, we made the band. I couldn't believe it. My actual dreams were coming true about becoming a musician. Three years later, the band is still a success and now, we're touring. Music showed me the good and positive stuff that I needed in my life. They said drugs are not helping, I listened and now, here I am.
